Sample program using ADODC WITH DATABASE.

This VB6.0 program allows user to add, edit, delete, search by option and display record using ADODC RECORD and ADODC CONNECTION. Microsoft Access for the DATABASE of this Program.

    elow po sir john.. pano ko po change un path .. kc di mhanap ung distination nung database na dbStudent.mdb.. ang ginawa ko ginaya ko na lng ung path D:\JPLR\VB6.0\Lecture\vbADODC\vbStudent.mdb... it works :).. pero like ko sana malaman kung pano ung change ung path.. xenxa na sir.. newbie pa me sa VB..hehe,tnx sir

    The database is not protected of any password or security.. you can acces the database immediately.

    I want you to open the program and goto form1 i want you to right click 'ADODC1' and click properties and click 'Build'..
    And browse the database dbStudent inside vbADODC Folder... And try to click Test Connection..

    pwede ba magbuild ng connection gamit ang ado data control na hindi sa properties ginagawa,gusto ko kc sana ung sa code..na try ko magbuild gamit ung adoDB lang,,gus2 ko adoDC (ado Data Control)..Help me Guyz!

    hello sir.. pano po gamitin ung crystal report sa vb6?.kaso nga sir eh. hindi ako mdyo marunong sa crstal. pwede ho bang sample? gusto ko po kcng gumawa nang referral letter nang madalian.. ung addressee at chaka name nalang ang ma palitan.. to minimize paper works redundancy. please

    minsan kpg more than 1 ung adodc ko sa form ayaw na mgconnect ng iba... my error po cya..

    @khaty: Ok kathy i'll send you a copy of program like you requested now just send put your email address.

    @David: Just right click the adodc1 object and press properties, browse you dabatase in order you will get the address of your database (msaccess) then the program will know the address of the database.

    @Henry of Pampanga: Henry to connect the program via network its very simple you just need to get the path of your database, because if the program will know the path of the database then it will automatically connect via network.

    I am trying to specify the connection string in code and have used the code below that I found in the earlier threads.

    Adodc1.ConnectionString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.3.51;Data Source=C:db1.mdb"
    Adodc1.CommandType = adCmdText
    Adodc1.RecordSource = "Select Field1 from Table1"
    Adodc1.Refresh

    This seems to work but the connectionstring line gives the following error:
    [microsoft][ ODBC Driver Manager]Data Source name not found and no default driver specified.

    I would appreciate any help I can get in this matter.
